About the Artist:
Allison Hancock is a native Memphian. She and her husband of 11 years, John, had their first child, Lucas, in June of 2006. After realizing he was too cute to commute away from full-time, she made the decision to offer her talents to the public as a freelance artist. When she is not chasing her four-year-old or working, she likes to sing along to Ella Fitzgerald while making mixed-media collage or sewing weird dolls and stuffed animals. Allison is a Leo, on the Cancer cusp.
